AKA-WANTED is not one of your everyday cry in your beer country bands! We are a fast paced, up-tempo, country rock style group. We don’t let our music drag along; we pep it up. Now don’t get me wrong, we still play slow ballads for all you lovers and sad song aficionados.

AKA-WANTED consists of the following members.  Their members include Tony (Guitar & Vocals), Kenny (bass, Keys & vocals), Frank (guitar & vocals), and Greg (drums).

This band is out to have fun and we enjoy working together. Our friendship has put our egos in check allowing each member of the band to shine as anyone who has seen this band can attest.

One of the first things you will notice about AKA-WANTED, is we play a lot of the more popular traditional country, 50/60’s and country rock.

The second thing you notice is we are having a ball while performing. Our friendship and love of music comes across on the stage as pure energy. This is a major reason why the group has enjoyed success over the years and has been in great demand throughout the Midwest area.

Having fun, creating a high energy, good time atmosphere while we are playing is high on our list of priorities.

Our philosophy is, “when you’re on stage, you want to get the audience involved’, so you play upbeat music with a lot of energy, and you make sure everyone knows you’re having a great time yourself.

If you are playing all slow, cry in your beer, down tempo music with no energy on the stage, then that’s the state your audience will be in. Let’s face it, nobody goes out to feel down or bad on purpose.

Everyone expects to have a great time. We want our audience to enjoy themselves, so we make sure our music is red hot, upbeat and full of energy.

We believe everyone should make it a point to get out of the house occasionally. Have some fun, forget your everyday problems, and have a really, great time.

We are back playing again for special events and occasions and we hope to see you soon.
