Have you met Greg........
Greg, a native of Chicago, grew up watching his father playing drums in bands and developed a burning desire to become a drummer. He started playing live with the wanted band when he was 12 years old. His father allowed him to start playing sets and pretty soon he was playing most of the sets while his father handled the light system and sound for the group.
He continued playing with the Wanted Band for several years, excelling in classic country music, Texas swing, Blues, as well as Classic Rock. As the Wanted band era wound down to a close, he relocated with his father to Mobile, Alabama where he put together a Hard Rock group called The Physic Underground, a popular group playing throughout the Alabama/Florida area.
Working with his brother-in-law, Rob Stout an outstanding bass player, They produced a number of original rock songs, one of which is featured in the movie, Felony, staring Joe Don Baker and ???????. The movie opens with the song playing right on through the beginning panoramic view of the city and carries you into a Bar Scene where the opening dialog begins.
His influences growing up were The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Eric Clapton, Charlie Daniels, Lynrd Skynrd, and The Marshal Tucker Band.
Greg is a phenomenal drummer/musician who brings to the stage a lot of talent and energy that produces a dynamic charge of excitement in the band and audience whenever he plays.
Greg has learned that the key to his successful playing is that he cares about and takes care of, the most important thing, his music.
